Garrett Cooper took him deep for the go-ahead home run, though he remains on the injured list with an elbow sprain and won’t have an impact today…The NL Cy Young award runner-up has a deeper pitch mix than anybody the Marlins have faced this season.

The Marlins are a respectable 17-17 this season with him in the starting lineup. However, they’re 1-6 in their last seven Sunday games…The most well-rested options in the Marlins bullpen are Anthony Bass, Anthony Bender, Richard Bleier, John Curtiss, Ross Detwiler, David Hess, Luis Madero and Zach Pop.
