Marlins Notes: It’s been maddening to watch this fundamentally unsound team lead the majors—by wide margins—in both times picked off (23) and errors committed (122), but I would point to their National League-worst .299 on-base percentage as the bigger issue…Locked in with the sixth overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft, the Marlins might as well try to win to ensure finishing ahead of the Nationals in the NL East standings. That would technically make October their first and only winning month of the regular season.
