Prior to that, he’d been used exclusively as a DH since the end of the 2019 season.

Notes: Surprise! The Marlins placed Rogers on the 10-day IL with back spasms on July 24, but the move must have been retroactive to July 21. That is why he is eligible to return tonight….Brian Anderson has a five-game hitting streak since returning from the injured list. He’s got a .368/.478/.684 slash line during that span…The most well-rested relievers available in the Marlins bullpen are Anthony Bass, Dylan Floro, Preston Guilmet. David Hess and Steven Okert.
