Rozier remains on leave due to being investigated for alleged involvement in gambling and fixing stats in games.
The Heat attempted to buyout Rozier’s contract over the summer.
The NBA could still void Rozier’s contract.
The Heat would need to agree to a trade involving Rozier to ultimately get an official ruling from the NBA.
The team reportedly held discussions over trading for Ja Morant.
